General information

One Stop Locks can deliver to over 300 countries in the World.  Please read this general information, together with the relevant information below according to whether you require delivery to an address in the UK or to an address in other countries.

You can obtain the packaging & delivery charge (if any) for your Order in two ways.  When you create an account we ask for your delivery address, then when you log in the packaging & delivery charge will be calculated automatically for all items you add to your Cart.  Should you wish to know the delivery charge for a planned Order without creating an account, add the products you plan to Order to the Cart and then click the Delivery charge button;  select (from the drop-down lists) both the Country and the State, region or zone that the Order is to be delivered to, then click the Submit button;  the packaging & delivery charge for your planned Order will be displayed.

Despatch of Orders received before noon (12:00 GMT or BST) on a working day will usually be on the day the Order is received but may take up to three working days.  Orders received after noon on a weekday or at anytime on a Saturday, Sunday or a Public Holiday in the UK will be treated as being received on the next working day.

All carriers impose restrictions and limitations on their service.  None of the carriers we use will deliver on Sunday or a Public Holiday.  These carriers impose other restrictions and limitations on their service that we and you are obliged to accept.

The expected delivery dates quoted for carrier services that require a signature to acknowledge receipt presume that a person will be present at the delivery address during working hours (or before 9am if delivery before 9am is chosen) on the relevant day to accept delivery and provide a signature.  If no person is present, delivery will not be made on the scheduled day and you will probably receive a card posted through your door asking you to collect the consignment from a main Post Office or depot, or to contact the carrier to arrange an alternative date when a person will be present at the delivery address.

You should inspect the product(s) at the time of delivery, before signing the delivery note or signing device. Any damage sustained in transit must be notified to us by e-mail within three days of delivery.

We regret that we are unable to accommodate collection of an Order by your own nominated carrier.

 

UK deliveries

Packaging & delivery are free on Orders with a value of £100 and over, excluding VAT.  This offer applies to Orders with a total weight of up to 20kg;  the delivery charge on Orders with a total weight of 20kg and over will be charged.

All Orders with a value of £20 or over (excluding delivery charge and VAT) will be delivered by a carrier service that requires a signature to acknowledge receipt. 

Our general aim is next day delivery, for orders received by noon.

For the majority of Orders, you can select how you would prefer your purchase to be delivered to you.  Please note that Orders placed on a Friday and where a Next Day service is selected will normally be delivered on a Monday.

 Please be aware that although Royal Mail aims to deliver parcels sent by 1st Class Post and by Signed For 1st Class Post to their destinations the next working day, including Saturdays, these are not guaranteed services and can take up to several working days.  Should you need next day delivery, you should opt for Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm.

The scheduled delivery dates and times shown on this website are for the majority of mainland UK only;  for both standard and 'next day services, delivery dates will be later for Northern Ireland, the highlands and islands of Scotland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands, other British islands and selected Postcodes in the UK mainland.  See table below.  Timed delivery services (such as before 9am, by noon or by 1pm) are not available for these destinations, which can take up to three working days to arrive.
